This was my second costume, which I made before Inuyasha was really popular in North America. When I wore Kagome to Anime North in 2003 I was one of only two Kagome Cosplayers at the con. XD This being my second costume it isn't particularly impressive. It was made from broadcloth, which worked out colour wise, but it isn't exactly durable. Still it turned out fairly well. The first few times I wore it I had yet to discover the joys of wearing wigs so when I think back to it, I'm a little embarrassed. XD I ended up borrowing a wig from Pan when I wore this costume to the CNE in 2004 and that really made a world of difference. I enjoyed Cosplaying Kagome especially when Pan and later Kevin Cosplayed as Inuyasha. At the CNE Pan took a bunch of nice pictures of Kevin and me together. (^_^) I learned a lot from this costume, which helped me improve my skills. Still this being my second costume, I look back on it with fondness and in ways I’m prouder of this costume than some of the other ones I've retired more recently. (^^);; This is quite a comfortable and fun costume to wear which is why I've worn it quite a few times to different events.
